Sales Manager, Bellows (Knoxville, TN)

Job Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager – Bellows, will be the subject matter expert in leading sales for Fulton globally. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of the bellows market across industries and seek out and win new opportunities for Fulton.

The Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, the Sales Manager – Bellows, will be the subject matter expert in leading sales for Fulton globally. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of the bellows market across industries and seek out and win new opportunities for Fulton.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Sales team to pursue/Lead/Collaborate on Fulton Bellows pursuits
  • Lead the commercial evaluation of Bellows RFQs/projects. Travel 50% of the time to customers and cultivate opportunities across various industries to generate growth for Fulton
  • Lead/support the development of Technical Sales Bellows presentation materials for the Global Sales Team usage.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a person with strong Bellows or mechanical actuation background and experience with knowledge in its applications across many industrial segments in particular, with high-end and volume driven markets such as Industrial Controls, Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Transportation, Aerospace and Defense.

The candidate should have both a technical and sales background and have led sales campaigns and is comfortable discussing details with both Engineering, Procurement, and Finance.

Attributes/Skills Required

  • Technical acumen in Bellows and Mechanical Actuation Systems.

  • Self-motivated, passionate and a constant driver who enjoys pursuing sales opportunities.

  • Understanding of contracts and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and technology skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, engineering/technical degree preferred. – MBA is considered a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Approximately 10 years or more working in a technical Bellows or equivalent manufacturing environment in progressive positions in Sales, Business Development or Marketing

Facilities Engineer (Elmwood Park, NJ)

Job Summary: Manage all facets of the maintenance function in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Lead the maintenance team to ensure the facility and contents of the facility in order to keep production working effectively and efficiency is the primary function which includes keeping employees’ safe and complying with environmental regulations. Maintain the facility’s cleanliness and shop floor organization. Manage turnkey capital projects for facility upgrades and to introduce new technologies.

Primary Objectives

Manage all facets of the maintenance function in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Lead the maintenance team to ensure the facility and contents of the facility in order to keep production working effectively and efficiency is the primary function which includes keeping employees’ safe and complying with environmental regulations. Maintain the facility’s cleanliness and shop floor organization. Manage turnkey capital projects for facility upgrades and to introduce new technologies.

  • Support the development, implementation, and sustainability of continues improvement initiatives
  • 24/7 availability in the event of an emergency requiring maintenance support

Education

  • High School
  • College

Continuing education in regulatory requirements and electrical/mechanical (mechatronics) engineering, equipment maintenance.

Experience

3 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment with diverse equipment and processes. Strong electrical, mechanical and capital improvement projects skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage maintenance team.

General Machine Operator (Elmwood Park, NJ)

Job Summary: The successful candidate will read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements, set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule or template and position workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade for machine operation. Observation for workpiece defects or machine malfunction along with measurement of workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation will be required.

  • Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine
  • Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
  • Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
  • Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece
  • Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
  • Assists machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces
  • Rivets and spot welds workpiece

Manual TIG Welder (Elmwood Park, NJ)

Job Summary: The successful candidate will read and follow operating instructions, following safety and quality protocols. Working with a team of fabricators and/or welders, they will clean surfaces to be welded with wire brush, carbide grinder and/or alcohol, position parts in jigs or fixtures and tack welds assembly together, select torch, torch tip, and filler wire according to operation instructions, assemble argon hoses and plugs to achieve proper purge, and perform minor preventative maintenance on welding equipment (e.g. set gaps, dusting).

  • Follows all quality and safety protocols
  • Wear proper safety equipment
  • Cleans surfaces to be welded with wire brush, carbide grinder and/or alcohol
  • Positions parts in jigs or fixtures and tack welds assembly together
  • Select torch, torch tip, and filler wire according to operation instruction or work router
  • Assemble argon hoses and plugs to achieve proper purge
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance on welding equipment (e.g. set gaps, dusting)
  • TIG weld assemblies in the 1G or 3G position on sheet thickness up to .050” and a diameter of ¼” to 3” tube
  • Inspect weld height, width, color and imperfections per operation instruction requirements
  • Use borescope to inspect inside diameter welds for proper drop though, width, color and imperfections
  • Fill out documentation per company requirements
  • Works with a team of fabricators and/or welders to achieve production requirements
  • Assists other team members with various functions other than manual welding to assist in achieving team requirements
  • Performs weld repair including grinding, filling imperfections and building up metal parts
